Meet our Partners
HCC is pleased to work with these great partners that serve our industry. We encourage you to explore the good work they are doing through the links below.
HAWAII Rangeland Stewardship FOUNDATION
The mission of the Hawaii Rangeland Stewardship Foundation is perpetuating Hawaii’s rangelands through sound land stewardship, thereby preserving open space, supporting local food production, and promoting enhanced eco-system services attributable to Hawaii’s rangelands through education and advocacy.
Hawaii Rangelands
Rangelands are a type of land, not a use of land. They are not urban land and they are not agricultural crop land. They include some forests, some woodlands and other vegetation types not usually associated with range, but primarily, rangelands are grasslands, shrublands and savannas, and grasslands with scattered trees and shrubs.
Pacific Fire EXCHANGE
We support scientists and managers in creating approaches for collaborative and regionally relevant fire prevention and management. We leverage “best available” research to reduce fire management costs and protect natural, social, and cultural resources from wildfire devastation.
